Review: Nikon Coolpix 5000 Photo Gallery by Jeff Keller, DCRP Founder/Editor Last Updated: Monday, December 17, 2001 You read our review of this hot camera, right? Also, check out the Coolpix 5000 shootout, where you can see the camera take some tough shots along with my Olympus E-10. Photos are from a production model camera. All shots are taken at ISO 100 in Program mode, unless otherwise noted. Photos 1-13 were taken at Stanford University. Photo 14 was taken very close to home. Photos 15-27 were taken around Fisherman's Wharf. Photos 28-46 were taken at the San Francisco Zoo. I had figured that the zoo was a great place for test photos, but this turned out to be wrong. The animal areas are not photographer friendly and the light was all over the place. Photo 47 was taken right here at home. I've noted any special modes I used underneath the photo.
