Hello -

I am currently deciding between a Kodak Easy Share V570 and V610 (or V705 for that matter!). I want a slim camera but I wanted a little more than the typical camera in terms of picture quality. I like to zoom in on landmarks, animals, and flowers, and often like to blow my pictures up (not usually larger than 8x10). I don't however, want to spend unnecessary money if the V570 will suit my needs just as much as one of the other two cameras. Any advice? Thanks!!:

If picture quality is your primary concern, I would suggest buying a Canon or other brand. Kodak is know for producing softer photos with less detail. The only reason to buy the V570 or V705 is for the ultrawide lens. No other ultracompact camera currently has this feature, and it makes a big difference indoors or when shooting landscapes/buildings. I am not as familiar with the features of the V610. Just my $0.02.

V570 owner here. Listen to the poster ahead of me. If picture quality is that much of a must to you, the V570 and the V610 are not for you. In fact, you stated no reason as to why you are interested in those models.

Now, about the V610, it basically offers a long zoom compared to the V570's wide angle. But otherwise, they're very similar cameras.

P.S. I love my V570. :)
