Hi... I'm looking for an everyday use (non professional) compact digital
I currently own a Canon S410 and was looking at SD450 or the Panasonic DMC-FX9
Couple quick ?s: Are they both USB 2.0 and what are your personal thoughts on these cameras (if you own them or have seen them personally)
My biggest complaint with my current S410 is it's horrible in low lighting with no flash (I try not to use flash even in low lights... ruins the picture).. very blurry.
For you SD450 owners, comments very appreciated.

I bought a Canon SD400 back in August after having an S400 for a year or two. (The SD400 is pretty similar to the SD450, and the S400 is much like the S410.) I enjoyed the small size and weight of the SD400, but I found that the pictures from the SD400, while very good, were not quite as sharp as those from the S400. Also, the flash on the SD400 is weaker. I am getting an SD550 for Christmas, which should be at least as good as the S400. I have no info on the Panasonic that you mentioned.

hows the battery life for sd400 in comparison to s400? I dont think the battery life for the s400 was that great...

I would say that there's not much difference in battery life. I used the LCD more on the SD400 than the S400 because it's bigger and easier to see. I would suggest an extra battery with almost any digital camera.
