Hi All,
This is my first post on this board. I found the FinepixS9000 for 534.15@Dell and had a few questions...but first, here is the link if you want to buy one at this price.

for me the price came out to ~$570.00 with tax but that's still the best deal I've seen on this camera *and* it brought it into ~ the same price range as the FZ30 (my best price was ~$530-540).
I liked the fact that the S9000 took better pictures @ higher ISO settings. I'd like to take photos @ the race track and I think that this will help me capture motion in full daylight. Also, I'll probably use a tripod or a monopod so the IS is less of a factor.
I also like the fact that the camera has a nice wide angle for panoramic shots...so, I doubt I'll have to buy a wide angle teleconverter. I guess I am having a little buyers remorse @ the moment and I'm looking for assurance that I've made the right choice for my application (and not the FZ30).
For you guys who already own this camera...
How well does the burst mode work? Pretty good? Better than the FZ30?
Also, can you use an XD and CF @ the same time? (switch off between cards)
On a side note, which do you think is the better media choice XD or CF? I guess what I am asking here is which will provide faster camera performance. Is there a cost trade off?
Well, that's all I have for now. I hope someone can answer these questions...

P.S. I've been lurking on this site for quite a while and it's a little disheartening to see all of the great FZ30 photos posted in the Panasonic forum. Where are the great S9000 pics?
